After this, visit the workshops with Marrakchi maalems (local craftsmen), where you will get to know how to make leather slippers or see people engaged in basketry, pottery, and much more.
Ouirgane Day Trip
This trip is perfect to reconnoitre Berber villages and get the most of the beautiful landscapes. During the trip, you will get to drive through the wonderful valleys of Asni and Tahnaoute. Ouirgane is situated in the Atlas Mountains, in the heart of Toubkal National Park. The place is 65 kilometers from Marrakesh and you have to take the road to Tizi N’ Tast to reach there. The road to the valley is extremely beautiful and you can take a walk enjoying the spectacular views as you pass by them. The village is situated on the banks of the Ouirgane River. The village is filled with rich olive and fig trees. You can have your lunch at a Berber home, and then move your way towards the other side of the Valley. Afterward, by making your way through orchards, vineyards, and other villages, you can get back to Marrakech.
